Mohali: Nursing home sites auction for Rs 24 crore

Auction of four nursing home sites has added over Rs 24 crore to the coffers of Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA). From the auction of sites with total area of 4,703.85 square yards, GMADA has earned Rs 24.26 crore, with the average auction price being Rs 51,575 per square yard. The highest price was fetched by the corner site spread over an area of 1,281.63 square yard at Sector-70, which was auctioned for Rs 8 crore against the reserve price of over Rs 1.69 crore.
Sector-70 site
The Sector-70 site, that fetched GMADA Rs 46,900 per square yard, was bought by Dr Hari Om. Against a reserve price a site that came to Rs 12,000 per square yard, it fetched the highest bidding price of Rs 62,421 per square yard. The successful bidder was Dr Anupam Jindal of NINS Brain and Spine Hospital Sector-34 Chandigarh.
Sector-69 Site
At Sector-69, the 1,211.11 square yard site-A fetched Rs 5.51 crore against the reserve price of around Rs 1.60 crore while site-B, having similar area, fetched Rs 6.06 crore. A 1,000 square yard corner site at Sector-69 was sold for Rs 6.06 crore against a reserve price of Rs 1.32 crore.

While site-A was bought by a kidney centre, site-B was purchased by Dr Ambrish Sehgal of Panchkula.
