Panchkula:Work on four-laned national highway 73 NHAI to begin

Work on a four-laned national highway 73 NHAI will start in next two months. This four-laning project to take 910 days from start to finish.
A 109-km stretch of the highway, which connects Panchkula, Barwala, Saha and Yamunanagar, will be four-laned. Work will be carried out on build-operate-transfer basis and new bridges constructed on the way following the pattern of Ambala-Zirakpur highway.

Toll will be also levied for travelling on the road.

With the four laning, connectivity of Panchkula with other parts of Haryana will improve. This is also expected to decrease the pressure on Ambala-Zirakpur highway as it would also cater to traffic heading to Ambala. People going to Dehradun and Roorkee will also be able to use it.
