Punjab’s empowered committee Super Mega Mixed Use Integrated Industrial Park, being developed by DLF Home Developers Limited over an area of 1,250 acre of land with an investment of Rs 2,700 crore at Mullanpur Local Planning Area under Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA).
The committee allowed the company to develop residential area in the first phase and it would be treated as a housing mega project.All the conditions of a residential project would be applicable for this pocket and the concessions provided under the park policy would be available to the company only when the industrial pocket was developed in
accordance with set provisions.
About 1,250 acre at Milak, Mastarh, Dhanauran, Togan, Tira, Basnepur, Sangalan, Ratwara, Pantpur, Devinagar and Chaharmajra villages would be utilized for the said project.
The empowered committee gave a nod for developing a golf course on the panchayati land for which the company would directly apply to the department of rural development & panchayats. The department would co-ordinate between the developer company and concerned panchayats and make a policy decision for leasing out of the panchayat land. This land would not be part of the park. As and when the commercial activity was undertaken by the Company on the developed water body, the revenue earned would be shared by the company and the department of irrigation.
