Rs 55-crore facility planned on 16.43 acres in Sector 62
A first-of-its-kind Amusement Park-cum-Punjab Haat, an entertainment and recreational facility of international standards, will come up at Mohali in a proposed Rs 55-crore project.
Central Business District
It is the second component of the Central Business District planned in Sector 62 here and one of the 12 mega-projects with a total estimated worth of Rs 9,000 crore.
Tenders Invited
Punjab Infrastructure Development Board (PIDB), which has been assigned as the executing agency, on Wednesday invited tenders from interested private players dealing in amusement parks and real estate for taking up the project on a Design-Build-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) basis through the public-private-partnership (PPP) mode.
