Panchkula:Three new sectors in the Barwala-Kote Billa urban complex

Creating more residential space in Panchkula, the extension project is all set to move ahead as Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) has planned three new sectors in the Barwala-Kote Billa urban complex. The layout plan for the extension would be made soon and the sectors have been identified as 12, 13 and 14.

2,500 acres had been earmarked for residential space, on which 12 sectors will come up. Initially, work will start on three of these. The remaining area would be reserved as agriculture zone, which would include space for agro-based industry, poultry, dairy farming and milk chilling station. The residential area will be near Kote-Billa village on NH-73 and have plots of sizes including 8, 10, 12 and 14 marlas.

With space crunch already setting in Panchkula, the new urban complex would try and accommodate the maximum families, with population density of 120 per acre.

The land is currently attached with Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation ( HSIIDC), which is establishing the commercial sectors there. Demarcation of the proposed land will be finalized soon and town planners will start working on layout design for residential plots.
