Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has decided to delink its high-end housing project from its golf range, which is to come up in Sector 65. GMADA will start working on the range first.
As a unified project, these facilities would have made for super-luxury housing. The decision regarding the decoupling was taken at a recent GMADA executive committee meeting. GMADA chief administrator Vivek Pratap Singh said separate bids would be invited for the range and high-end housing complex. The golf range would be constructed on schedule, said sources. It would have a clubhouse, restaurant, conference hall, yoga room, library, gymnasium and indoor games facilities, officials added.
